This is my favorite granola recipe and I could happily eat it every day. It is also easy to make. We usually eat it with added fruit, which adds sweetness. Our preference is to eat it with organic Soy Milk (available at an affordable price at Aldi's in the U.S.). I think you will like it.—Dan
18 Heaping C Old Fashion Oats
3 C Whole Wheat Flour
1 C Olive Oil
1 C Honey
2 C Water
1.5 tsp Salt
You can add either wheat germ or wheat bran and/or flax seed. Rose doesn't measure this. Do as you prefer.
•Mix dry ingredients
•Blend the wet ingredients in a blender.
•Combine wet and dry ingredients; mix thoroughly
• Bake (note different directions based on the kind of oven)
If Convection Oven:
Bake at 250, stirring after 30 minutes, and then every 20 minutes until granola is crunchy and dry—perhaps as long as two hours.
If Regular Oven:
Bake at 225, after 30 minutes, and then every 20 minutes, until the granola is crunchy and dry—perhaps as long as two hours.
